Wednesday, June 21 - Leaving Lofty Farms fish farm… in the village of Fendig… heading to city of Lome… John’s family flies out on Friday.
Got all our belongings loaded…
Returning the three motos…

John can’t miss an opportunity to see the cows at work…
Cows and a plow is a rare sight… turning the sod is usually done by hand…
First stop - Atakpamé Restaurant Ero…

We arrived at Coco Beach Hotel by nightfall… at the port city of Lome… the lights on the water are container ships waiting to be cleared to come in to unload…
Thursday, June 22 - Drove the city… first to renew a paper for the van… then to grocery store and pharmacy… relaxed at the hotel, beach, pool the rest of the day…
Friday, June 23 - Got to the airport shortly after 9:00am… John’s fly home today… but I know their hearts have taken root here… we will miss them!
Thru security and then… “Bon Voyage!” 👋
Ate lunch at a Festival des Glaces… a former favorite restaurant from 7 years ago… we’ve still got Samson, the van apprentice, with us…

Saturday, June 24 - Spaghetti from the hotel restaurant…
Seth is battling malaria… so we all had a restful day… prayer… relaxing… catching up on trip updates…

Sunday, June 25 - left Lome late morning… traveling inland again… our last day with this trusty van… returned it to its owner in the evening…
When we reached Atakpamé we stopped at Leader Hotel… found a very compatible suite to stay at for a few days until further direction… two bedrooms with separate bathroom in each… lounge area…
… and dining area…
